Food and Non-Food Donations

We receive and give out donations to the most vulnerable members of the informal settlement communities.

In 2020, we served over 6,000 people with the foods and non-food items we received as away of cushioning them against the hard economic times presented by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people were laid off work hence lacking opportunities to work and earn a living as most of the informal settlements community dwellers do hand to mouth jobs (they spend nearly all they work for in a day and can barely save) and most of them have young families with an average size of 3 people per family.

We properly do our community survey of the most vulnerable people through the help of our Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), who do a door to door

We are always grateful to our donors and supporters for every donation channeled our way. Your support really goes a long way!!!!

We always have a session with the community members just before the donations are given out to pass a message; either to teach, learn/discuss or to sensitize them.
