Day of an African Child (DAC)

The Day of the African Child is marked across the continent with speeches, ribbons, and promises — but in Kibera, it also tastes like something. On this day, partners rolled in alongside ETCO: Aboro, CBC Kenya, Narec, Janris Foundation, SIRMAX, KCERT, Zuri Initiative, Mirror of Hope CBO — different logos, one shared stubborn belief that children should be more than a theme.
Agenda 2040 was unpacked in plain language — rights, safety, education — not as a document for shelves, but as a conversation young people could actually use on Monday morning.
We served food to more than 800 people — plates passed hand to hand until the steam blurred the edges of the afternoon. Primary schools brought classes to share the meal, laughter mixing with the serious business of eating while you still can.
Trees, trophies, and textbooks
Seedlings went into soil — small green bets on a cooler future. Winners walked away with learning materials — pencils, books, the small things that tell a child school is still possible. On the pitch, Chemichemi lifted the 2021 championship over KISUG Runners Up; the dust rose, the crowd roared, and for a moment the day felt like childhood should: loud, sweaty, unfair only in the way games are.
Hashtags fade; full stomachs and planted trees stay in the body and the ground. If you want the next African Child Day to be bigger — more meals, more seedlings, more prizes — partner with us early, not only when the calendar reminds you.

Planning Meeting with PSN - Waste Management Project
Today's ETCO had logistical planning meeting at PSN Office to discuss the upcoming waste management project... Good things take time.

Happy Father's Day
As a man. It's Okay to start all over again. Let someone love you correctly, genuinely, value you and respectfully if they have to. Somewhere in your 30s, 40s or 50s, you'll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop. It's important you see that journey through. Keep going and don't ever give up. Strong.
