Happy to be back

The pots had been quiet too long. After a stretch without our feeding programme, the ETCO team felt the gap — not only empty cauldrons, but the missing noise: children chattering, spoons scraping metal plates, the small rush when someone asks for seconds and the cook pretends to think about it.
We are back now, and the relief is mutual. Sharing a meal here is never only calories; it is dignity served hot — a few minutes when a child can be a child instead of counting hours to the next chance to eat. To everyone who gives so this programme runs, whether once in a while or every month through M-PESA and faithful transfers — thank you for understanding how deep that support goes.
A plate of githeri or ugali does not just fill a stomach; it steadies a whole day. Help us keep the fire lit and the portions fair — your next gift buys continuity, not a one-off photo.

Easter Feeding Program
Thanks to Tim Ruff and Stephanie, ETCO hosted a warm Easter Friday feeding program for children at our new office—bringing joy, a good meal, and community together in Kibera.

ETCO's Kibera Slums Tour
We thank Tim Ruff and Stephanie for joining ETCO’s Slum Tour in Kibera—walking with us, listening to residents, and experiencing the strength and reality of our community firsthand.

FLOOD SUPPORT APPEAL – KIBERA
Heavy rains brought flooding to Kibera’s riparian areas—destroying homes, claiming lives, and leaving families in urgent need. ETCO appeals to well-wishers for food, clothing, bedding, medical support, and other basics, while urging everyone to stay safe around fast water and contamination risks.
