ETCO Computer Centre Set Up

Cable ties, extension cords, and the faint plastic smell of new keyboards — the ETCO Computer Centre in Highrise is almost ready for the young people who have watched the door stay closed for too long. Desks line up where boxes once sat; monitors blink awake when someone tests the power. This is not a corporate office dropped into Kibera; it is a community room built for fingerprints on screens and questions asked twice until the answer sticks.
We will run free computer lessons for a defined number of children — chosen by age, class, and grade — for one full school term (three months). Spots will be limited on purpose: small classes mean nobody hides at the back pretending to understand.
Parents, watch our notices for enrolment details. Partners who can donate peripherals, data, or volunteer tutors — get in touch before the first cohort fills. The centre only works if the community treats it as a shared resource, not a private club.

Easter Feeding Program
Thanks to Tim Ruff and Stephanie, ETCO hosted a warm Easter Friday feeding program for children at our new office—bringing joy, a good meal, and community together in Kibera.

ETCO's Kibera Slums Tour
We thank Tim Ruff and Stephanie for joining ETCO’s Slum Tour in Kibera—walking with us, listening to residents, and experiencing the strength and reality of our community firsthand.

FLOOD SUPPORT APPEAL – KIBERA
Heavy rains brought flooding to Kibera’s riparian areas—destroying homes, claiming lives, and leaving families in urgent need. ETCO appeals to well-wishers for food, clothing, bedding, medical support, and other basics, while urging everyone to stay safe around fast water and contamination risks.
