Satisfaction, Contentment & Happiness

There is a particular quiet right after lunch when children sprint back to play — cheeks full of mischief, bellies finally still. Outside the ETCO office you hear it before you see it: sandals slapping concrete, someone daring a friend to race to the corner and back before the teacher calls everyone in.
We cook because we love that sound. When a child looks up from a plate with a full smile, you see more than satisfaction; you see steadiness for the afternoon — schoolwork, chores, whatever the day asks. Our team shows up to chop, stir, and serve without turning meals into a lecture; we are neighbours feeding neighbours.
When you can, put food on this table
If you have ever wanted to turn a good intention into a hot meal, support the feeding programme — one month’s help covers more plates than most people guess.

Easter Feeding Program
Thanks to Tim Ruff and Stephanie, ETCO hosted a warm Easter Friday feeding program for children at our new office—bringing joy, a good meal, and community together in Kibera.

ETCO's Kibera Slums Tour
We thank Tim Ruff and Stephanie for joining ETCO’s Slum Tour in Kibera—walking with us, listening to residents, and experiencing the strength and reality of our community firsthand.

FLOOD SUPPORT APPEAL – KIBERA
Heavy rains brought flooding to Kibera’s riparian areas—destroying homes, claiming lives, and leaving families in urgent need. ETCO appeals to well-wishers for food, clothing, bedding, medical support, and other basics, while urging everyone to stay safe around fast water and contamination risks.
