Day 2 (Site Visit, Capacity building and partners' meetings)

After the capacity-building session, we proceeded with the day's agenda, which included site visits. We visited the Motoine River at the confluence of the dam, one of the dam's key tributaries. This visit provided valuable insights and reaffirmed our commitment to our environmental goals. Overall, it was another successful and productive day for the team.
We finished the day with an online meeting with the Rotary Club - Nairobi Connect team headed by the President Lilian Momanyi. A very productive session it was. How encouraging to see individuals and institutions joining the journey to restore the dam and revitalizing it's tributaries.

Early Lunch at ETCO
Diving deeper into the year with our children feeding program, yesterday's session at ETCO was filled with warmth, laughter, and nourishment. With the dedicated efforts of our team and the new interns, we ensured that over 350 children, along with elderly and youth members of the community, received a well-prepared meal. The presence of the interns brought fresh energy and enthusiasm, giving us hope for expanded children’s activities and engagement. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to ensuring that no child in our community goes hungry, and that every Saturday is a moment of joy and connection.
