Day 2 (Site Visit, Capacity building and partners' meetings)

After the capacity-building session, we proceeded with the day's agenda, which included site visits. We visited the Motoine River at the confluence of the dam, one of the dam's key tributaries. This visit provided valuable insights and reaffirmed our commitment to our environmental goals. Overall, it was another successful and productive day for the team.
We finished the day with an online meeting with the Rotary Club - Nairobi Connect team headed by the President Lilian Momanyi. A very productive session it was. How encouraging to see individuals and institutions joining the journey to restore the dam and revitalizing it's tributaries.

Happy New Year 2026
As we gear up for a year filled with river-related activities, we wish you a prosperous and highly successful year in all your endeavours. We are confident that even more initiatives lie ahead for the Ngong River Regeneration in 2026. Let us continue sensitising our community members and ready ourselves to contribute—through partnerships, clean-up activities, and all other efforts—towards restoring and revitalising our rivers.

Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays to you all. To those who have been a blessing to the communities we serve though our programs, we are forever grateful and we pray for abundance to you always. www.etco-kenya.org
