Workshop focused on application of Nature-Based Solutions
The objectives were to enhance understanding and practical application of NbS and EbA strategies in urban river regeneration, explore the integration of HRBA in environmental initiatives, build skills in participatory planning methods, and enable stakeholders, especially in informal settlements, to contribute to the regeneration and management of Nairobi's rivers.
Easter Feeding Program

FLOOD SUPPORT APPEAL – KIBERA
Following the heavy rains in Nairobi, several families in Kibera, especially those living along the riparian areas, were affected by floods. Sadly, lives were lost and many households lost or had their properties destroyed after storm waters swept through their homes. ETCO – Empower The Community is appealing to well-wishers and partners to support the affected families with food, clothing, bedding, medical support, financial and other basic needs. We also urge everyone to stay safe during this rainy season by avoiding crossing strong flowing waters and keeping away from stagnant or unfamiliar water to prevent accidents and waterborne diseases.
