Key Project Components The project focuses on several critical interventions, including: - Sanitation & Infrastructure: Construction of toilets, sewer lines, and markets along the riverbanks. - Social Amenities & Housing: An extended 30-meter buffer zone for social housing in some areas. - Feasibility Study for Ngong River: - Conducted to assess potential donors, sponsors, and feasible interventions. - Identifies the exact number of people residing along the riparian zone. - Community members, local administrators, and NGAO to participate in data collection inclusive engagements. - Immediate Project Kickoff on Nairobi River: - Construction of the identified amenities and facilities commenced immediately after the launch which shall create additional job opportunities. (Potential increase in the wage paid) - Presence of contractors and engineers on the ground, signaling the project’s rapid implementation. 4. 1st December, is the World AIDS Day We joined hands with local organisations in Kibera and key government departments to commemorate World AIDS Day. Together, we've carried out sensitisation and education sessions focused on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, testing, and access to care. Our collaborative outreach aimed to empower community members with accurate information, reduce stigma, and encourage more people—especially youth and parents—to take proactive steps toward their health and wellbeing.

ETCO - Nondies RFC 2nd Edition CRS
Saturday’s activities were a great success as ETCO partnered with Nondies RFC for a meaningful community outreach program. Together, we supported our ongoing children’s feeding program, ensuring that young ones in Nyayo High-rise Ward received a warm, nutritious meal and learning materials. The team also helped distribute essential non-food items to community members, extending care and hope to families in need.
