"Pro-Peace Kenya." - Learning & Networking

The training room fills with folders, name tags, and the low murmur of people who know elections can bless or bruise a country. Collince joined colleagues from across Kenya for sessions on leadership and conflict management for electoral stakeholders — work hosted by the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) with the European Union, implemented with partners including the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES).
Across the tables sat representatives from political parties, civil society, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), the Political Parties Liaison Committee (PPLC), the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ), ELGIA, ELOG, and more — different uniforms, same worry about how Kenya argues with itself when power is on the line.
Peace is prepared, not wished for
The aim is practical: promote cohesion, open political dialogue, and prevent election-related violence as Kenya moves through another cycle. Other goals sit close — deeper understanding between communities, fewer flare-ups in markets and on timelines, less hate speech dressed up as truth.
Training does not replace hard work back home; it equips people to carry calmer tools into heated rooms. For ETCO, showing up in spaces that shape how Kenya disagrees is part of loving our neighbourhood well. If you are organising community forums or youth dialogues in Kibera, talk to us — we are stronger when local voices plan together.

Planning Meeting with PSN - Waste Management Project
Today's ETCO had logistical planning meeting at PSN Office to discuss the upcoming waste management project... Good things take time.

ETCO Office Under Repair & Setup
We're working on improving our office to better serve our community. Once complete, the upgraded space will help us provide more efficient, organized, and accessible services. Thank you for your patience and continued support as we build a better environment for everyone. Stay tuned for updates!

Happy Father's Day
As a man. It's Okay to start all over again. Let someone love you correctly, genuinely, value you and respectfully if they have to. Somewhere in your 30s, 40s or 50s, you'll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop. It's important you see that journey through. Keep going and don't ever give up. Strong.
