Attendance at our Saturday children’s feeding rose again—part of a wider gathering in Kibera where hundreds of children, youth, and elders share sports, arts, life skills, and music before a meal that keeps the community grounded.

World Water day (Thwake Dam Visit)
On World Water Day, UN-Habitat and the Nairobi Rivers Commission organised a community learning trip to Thwake Dam so upstream groups could see how pollution and poor maintenance downstream ripple into large water infrastructure.

Another great day with the kids
The Saturday feeding felt especially alive: before eating, children dove into drawing and painting—creative play that built confidence and calm before we shared a meal together.

Week 6 of 2024 looking better
Six weeks into 2024, ETCO’s Saturday feeding programme is gaining momentum—evidence that consistent effort and community support can steadily improve life for vulnerable children in Kibera.

Equipment challenge for the feeding program
Reliable plates and spoons are basic—yet in resource-tight settings, keeping enough durable utensils for weekly feeding requires repair cycles, replacements, and creative sourcing so every child eats with dignity.

Week 4 of 2024
Week four’s feeding stood out: visitors contributed life skills sessions, and everyone shared the meal together—warmth, learning, and nutrition in one morning.

Amazing week...!!!
Another week of joy at ETCO: our Saturday feeding brought children together for nutritious meals, gentle mentorship, and the simple dignity of being seen. In Kibera, that consistency matters.

Week 2 2024
Week two of 2024 showed what we hoped for: more children walking through the door for our Saturday feeding—proof that families trust the programme and that word travels neighbour to neighbour.

Happy New Year
We rang in the New Year the ETCO way: plates filled, voices lifted, and neighbours of every age welcomed—because celebration should include the most vulnerable among us.

End-of-Year and New Year Wishes
As 2023 closed, ETCO paused to honour partners, volunteers, and neighbours: from Saturday feeding that eased hunger to river care and a computer centre widening access—together we proved that empowerment is a shared project.

Merry Christmas 2023
Christmas 2023 gave us another reason to gather: a shared meal with neighbours—because the best of the season is not consumption, but connection around the table.

**A Season of Hope and Community Love! **
This Christmas, ETCO thanked a growing family of supporters—neighbours and partners whose generosity fuels outreach, environmental care, and talent pathways in sports and music.

Community Engagement & Walk along Ngong River
Alongside UN Habitat, the German Embassy, and the Nairobi Rivers Commission, ETCO hosted dialogue at Canaan Estate—then walked the Ngong River to make abstract policy feel like local reality.
